14th Xitang Hanfu Culture Week Opens with International Participants

The 14th Xitang Hanfu Culture Week opened on October 31 in Xitang Ancient Town, Zhejiang Province. The event turned the town into an immersive cultural theater. This year, the parade route moved through the town's historic streets and bridges for the first time. New performances featured styles from the Tang, Song, and Ming dynasties. Famous images from ancient paintings were also recreated in the show. A water parade took place at the same time. Boats decorated with historical themes sailed along the canals. An international group joined the opening ceremony. Friends from 11 countries wore traditional Chinese clothing to experience its beauty. During the parade, they greeted visitors and enjoyed the scenery together. Over the past 14 years, more than one million tourists have visited this event. It has grown from a small gathering into a major platform for traditional culture. The ancient town and Hanfu fashion support each other, bringing new energy to the historic site.
